#ASKTHESTYLIST Style Me Casual for Fridays Part 2

So yesterday we helped Stephanie with casual Fridays in her conservative office. Today we are back with part two. She has come back and asked us to help her with this maxi skirt she has been dying to wear but is not sure how to pull it off for work.

Check out below for some looks we came up with for Stephanie and her skirt…

For a full skirt, a fitted top that you can tuck in is a great option to keep your look balanced and a blazer to complete your look will make it appropriate for work. Find a blazer that is not too long as to not add more volume to your already long, full skirt.

For something a little more, try this fitted, faux wrap shirt.  For work and with such a deep V-neck, pair over a fitted white button front woven.

Denim days don’t have to only mean jean pants. Opt for a chambray top which will look great tucked in. Again, find a fitted option and this will add some structure and balance to your more free flowing skirt.

Remember that belted cardigan from part 1 of Style Me Casual for Fridays? Well we are using it again but this time we are keeping it open and pairing it over a white top, again with a tie detail at the front.

I hope Stephanie is able to find something in these looks that’s work for her skirt. Thanks for checking out the style and fashion questions I am answering. See ya soon with more answers to more #ASKTHESTYLIST questions!
